We thought it was time that we arranged a local community update meeting so that we can share all about the brand new Friends of Berrylands Nature Reserve group! You can meet the committee who have got it all started, ask any questions and even join there and then!
We’ll also give you a run down of what has happened so far as part of the restoration project and what we believe is still to take place to improve our wonderful little nature reserve.
Before we finish we want to hear from you guys! We’d love to hear your reactions to what’s been going on in the nature reserve for the last 18 months or so, to hear about what else you’d like to see and any issues you think that we might be able to help with.
The meeting will take place on Saturday 27th October at Christ Church CofE Primary School in their school hall. Doors will open at 4pm and we aim to be done by 5pm. The meeting is hosted by the Friends of Berrylands Nature Reserve and everyone is very welcome, so tell your neighbours, friends and family!
If you are feeling really energetic on that day, why not come along to the Fishponds Park Community Action Day from 10am – 2pm to help another local green space improve. Check out their Facebook page for more details: https://www.facebook.com/events/333357967433279/
