Following on from last months succesful first Conservation Volunteer Day run by the Friends of Berrylands Nature Reserve we are back, and have managed to squeeze in another one before Christmas! We promised we wouldn’t make you wait as long as the last time, and hopefully everyone will be fighting fit after the social gathering in The Berrylands the previous evening.
The session will run from 10am to 2pm meeting outside of Berrylands Scout Hut.
We haven’t yet confirmed what tasks we will be carrying out on the day (I heard some exciting unconfirmed plans for some bulb planting so watch this space!), but we will update this page once we have.
Given the time of year it may well be cold and/or wet so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
If you have your own gardening or work gloves then it might be useful to bring those along too.
We will provide hot drinks and biscuits to keep you going, but you might also want to bring your own lunch.
Hope to see you then!
