Yes, it’s another weekday one I’m afraid but our next conservation volunteering day is this Wednesday 30th January!
We’ll be meeting at 10am outside the Berrylands Scout Hut for a welcome brief before heading into the nature reserve. There are a few things to do on this day including mulching some of the newly planted tree whips and putting any spare wood chips on the muddy path, looking at possible drainage options for the hawthorn tunnel path, litter picking and bramble clearance before bird nesting season begins.
As always for our events, please wear sturdy outdoor shoes or wellington boots, warm clothing for outdoor work and if you have your own pair of gardening gloves or work gloves that could be useful. You may want to bring a packed lunch and we’ll provide some hot drinks and biscuits for a break halfway through the event.
Message us or email berrylandsnr@gmail.com if you have any questions. We hope to see you there!
