Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Event Details

Can you believe it, we’ve been around almost 6 months now as a formally constituted Friends of Group and it’s time for our first Annual General Meeting (AGM)!

We’re really excited about the opportunity to update you on everything that has been achieved over the last few months, tell you about some plans for the future and to be able to answer questions that you may have.

The AGM will be held on Saturday 2nd March 2019 at 2.30pm in the Berrylands Scout Hut, Stirling Walk, Surbiton, KT5 9HY.

We also need to elect a new management committee, so if you are interested in being a part of that please drop us an email as soon as possible or by 9am on Monday 25th February at the very latest. If you’d like to just chat about it first before nominating yourself that’s absolutely fine.  You can email us at:

In addition, Elliot Newton has kindly agreed to run a Camera Trap workshop after the AGM for all you budding nature fans who are keen to learn how to get a glimpse of the natural world around you day or night.

And … for those who enjoy volunteering in the nature reserve, on the same day in the morning from 10am – 12pm, we’ll be running a  conservation volunteering event!  More details to be published separately.

What a nature packed, wildlife-tastic day it will be!

We encourage all members to try to attend but please remember only Full Members (16 or over) are eligible to vote at the AGM.

For more info about how the meeting will be run or how to raise a formal topic at it, please check out the policy on the website or ask for more details if you can’t find it, before 9am on Monday 25th February.
