UPDATE: During the Covid-19 virus outbreak we've made changes to how we're running our volunteer events & anyone visiting local green spaces should follow all local and national government advice.

Elmbridge Meadows Evening Balsam Bash

Event Details

Following an incredibly successful first evening volunteer session balsam bashing in Elmbridge Meadows we have decided to run a couple more.

This evening event will run from 7pm-8:30pm and we will be meeting by the Elmbridge Meadows entrance between Waverley Avenue, and Greenfield Avenue (between 114 and 116 Elmbridge Avenue, Berrylands, KT5 9HB).

As the balsam likes to grow in amongst nettles we would strongly recommend you wear long sleeves.
Sturdy shoes would also be advisable, and if you want to bring your own gardeening gloves you are more than welcome, although we will have pairs to share.

As usual we will have biscuits and warm drinks to keep people going.

If you have any questions about the session, or voluneering with us in general please drop us an email to: berrylandsnr@gmail.com

Upcoming Events
During the Covid-19 virus outbreak we've changed how we're running Friends of Berrylands Nature Reserve volunteer events, with registration in advance strictly necessary, reduced numbers of volunteers and these events now being advertised via our Mailing List.
